Maple Hot Wings That’ll Change Your Mind
Hi folks!
I’ve never been the biggest fan of hot wings—too spicy for me to really enjoy. But this buffalo wing sauce? Oh my. It changed everything. The perfect blend of sweet maple syrup and hot sauce hits that sweet-heat balance just right, making these wings absolutely irresistible.
My kids were always crazy about buffalo hot wings, ordering them at every restaurant we went to. Their drink glasses would be slimed up with wing sauce in no time—sticky fingers, sauced-up smiles. There’s just something unbeatable about digging into chicken wings that are cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
Sweet Heat in Every Bite
The aroma of the sweet, spicy buffalo sauce pulls you in, and the sight of that glossy glaze clinging to each piece is pure mouthwatering magic. These are the wings you want for a weekend lunch or dinner, best served alongside a cold beer. Trust me, they taste even better than they look in the picture!

Warning: Buffalo Hot Wings in photo may be even tastier than they appear!
Air Frying Instructions
For those who prefer using an air fryer to make your spicy maple chicken wings, here’s how to make them crispier without sacrificing flavor.
- In a large bowl, combine baking powder, paprika, and salt.
- Add the chicken wings and toss until well-coated.
- Spray the basket of a 3 ½ quart air fryer with nonstick cooking spray.
- Line up the chicken wings in the fryer basket so they don’t overlap.
- Set the fryer to 360°F and cook for 12 minutes.
- Using tongs, flip the chicken wings and fry for another 12 minutes.
- Flip again, increase the heat to 390°F, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the chicken wings are super crispy.
While the chicken wings are air frying, proceed with the steps below to prepare the sauce.
