Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. If it’s your first visit, welcome to my little corner of the internet where comfort food meets low-effort brilliance. If you’ve been here before—big hug and a spoonful of cobbler for you.

So here’s the deal. This cobbler is your new back-pocket dessert. The kind you whip up without thinking, using whatever frozen fruit is hanging out in your freezer—berries, peaches, cherries, or a mix. No peeling. No pitting. No stress. Just dump the fruit in your baking dish, mix the easy cornmeal topping in a bowl, pour it over, and bake until bubbly and golden. That’s it!

Inspired by Julia Turshen’s Simply Julia, this recipe delivers that sweet, cozy, just-a-little-cornbread magic. It’s not too sweet—which is exactly why vanilla ice cream on top is basically required.
